We understand that reaching out for support can be a big step, and we want to make the process as smooth and reassuring as possible.

When you arrive at Rural Living Psychology, you’ll know what to expect: clear information about how sessions work, what the first appointment involves, and how we’ll work together toward your goals. Our aim is to help you feel supported, informed, and comfortable from the very beginning.

Our Space

  • We aim to provide a calm, comfortable, and supportive space. Whether it’s your first time seeing a psychologist or you’ve been before, we want you to feel at ease from the moment you arrive.

  • Our rooms are designed to feel inviting and private. Although we don’t have a receptionist on site, please be assured that our space is dedicated solely to providing therapeutic services. You are welcome to come in, take a seat in the waiting area, and your clinician will meet you at your scheduled time.

  • Your first session is about getting to know you, understanding what has brought you to therapy, and beginning to explore how we can support your goals and wellbeing. You are encouraged to go at your own pace. We are here to walk alongside you, not rush you.

    We're Here for You

Life can be full of challenges, but you don’t have to navigate them alone. At Rural Living Psychology, we’re here to support you through life’s ups and downs with compassion and evidence-based care. If you have any questions before your appointment, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

    Rescheduling & Cancellations

If you need to change your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible (we kindly request at least 48 hours’ notice). This allows us to offer the time to someone else who may be waiting for an appointment. If you are unwell, your appointment will be automatically converted to a telehealth appointment instead.

Booking Your Appointment

If you're using a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP, please provide this when booking so we can ensure all the details are included and correct prior to your appointment.
